Hand made Paper Cupcake Toppers

I have a love of baking cupcakes and use to decorate the cupcakes using store bought products and also the printed images on rice paper purchased Online.  Although the cupcakes looked nice, I was looking for more height, dimension and personalisation.  The light bulb moment came when I combined my love of cupcakes and papercraft and came up with idea to create my own Paper Cupcake Toppers.

Ater a year of experimenting with different card stock, stamped and printed images and adhesives, I finally came up with a prototype that would become the marketed item under the Baxter and Rastas label.
All hand made Paper Cupcake Toppers by 'Baxter and Rastas' are published on my Cupcake Toppers blog, which you can find on the following link or via the 'Link to my Blogs' on the right hand side navigation bar.

The Paper Cupcake Toppers are not edible and are intended to be a cherished Keepsake of the occassion.   The lollipop sticks are made of plastic and the topper is made of paper.

The front of the cupcake topper can be a printed image, a stamped image, a logo or a photo to name just a few.  Quality Stampin' Up! card stock is used and comes in a large variety of colours to choose from.

The back of the topper may be personalised for the occassion, for eg. Happy 6th Birthday Emily, Welcome Baby Eliah dd/mm/yyyy, John and Jane Wedding dd/mm/yyyy, to name just a few.  A co-ordinating ribbon may be added to the lollipop stick to complete the cupcake topper.

The size of the scallop circle paper cupcake topper is approximately 4.5cm height x 4.5cm width for the topper with the overall length being 12cm with the lollipop stick.

Hand made Paper Cupcake Toppers will be available for purchase during 2012 by placing orders at the Baxter and Rastas Craft Market stalls or Online.  Further details will be posted on the Baxter and Rastas blog over the coming weeks so please check back soon.

Thanks for visiting,
Sue.
